Zoe first learned to ski at the age of two with her parents as her instructors at Boyne Highlands in Harbor Springs, Michigan. When Zoe was five, her father turned her on to snowboarding and she never turned back! He bought a snow making gun, a rail and a box, added some jumps and created a mini park in their backyard. Zoe and her brother Ian spent countless hours training on Mt. Kalapos. At age 10, Zoe began competing in the USASA Middle Earth series in slopestyle, boardercross, and halfpipe. Two years ago Zoe decided to focus solely on riding halfpipe.

'My goal in the years to come is to land on major podiums such as the U.S. Open, U.S. Grand Prix’s, as well as make the U.S. Olympic Team. Staying healthy and strong is very important for me, so spending lots of time in the gym is also a big goal for me.'
